Different strokes for different folks. Glad you found what you liked, the JH13 are a great pair by any standards.

Ordered my first pair of CIEMs on the 15th. UM Miracles! All of the info and advice I found around these forums led me to this decision and I thank everyone for all their input feedback on their Miracles, makes me feel confident in my decision. Now it's just the long wait...

I believe the wait time is 5 or 6 weeks which I don't think is that long. I've also just ordered the UM miracles and I'm looking forward to trying them with my GS-Xmk2.

The miracle is not those bass heavy IEMs. It's balanced, great soundstage and perfect tre/mid/bass which not heavy but just right. These things make the miracle overall better than the JH13 IMO.

If you like bass heavy you should go with JH16.

JH16 got better Treble/Highs though which i tend to like the most, a lot of fun.

Nah Jh13FP's bass is already perfect for me.. both the Miracle and Jh13FP sounds balanced to my ears.. only I find the Jh to be more refined especially on the vocals smily_headphones1.gif

Ha I see. Have you try to change the cable for Miracle? I would highly recommend you change the stock cable to a DHC cable and have a try. Big improvement you would hear. As the stock cable is quite crap IMO.

I had heard the Miracle with DHC fusion (occ silver and occ copper) and it became the best IEM I have ever heard in my life.

Yes. I've tried using another cable with the Miracle. Whiplash v3 silver/copper. Used it with Miracle, 1P2 & Jh13FP

Even though I've just placed an order for the UM Miracle, I asked the place I ordered them from whether they could get hold of another two of the two connectors that plug into the Miracles ear pieces. I asked them this because I'm considering having a silver custom cable made similar to the one I use with my senn HD-600's.

The two photos are of that cable.

AppleMark

As well as the cable being pure silver, as can be seen it's also a 4 pin XLR. I use it with my GS-Xmk2 and the difference between using that and the HD-600's stock cable is astonishing.

However, before I do anything I'm going to have a listen to the Miracles with the GS-X just to see if that cable is needed, but with that custom cable used with my HD-600's, it makes those headphones sound like I'd paid a lot of money for them, when I actually paid £269.

The GS-X and my source also have a lot to do with my HD-600's sounding so good.

Have you also tried the JH13 FP?

Last I heard it was 8 - 12 weeks, so if it's sooner, I will be very very happy. I'm going through ACustoms out of Melbourne. I figured it was easier to deal with a local rep than go internationally in case I had any issues. ACustoms have been tops so far, very helpful, even vetting all the colours/artwork before sending it to make sure it will look great. Amazing group of people.

I ordered mine via UMUK and it was them that told me the wait would be 5 to 6 weeks, but I can't say for anywhere else.
I'm saying the wait isn't that long because when I was waiting for my order of the GS-Xmk2 and BHSE, the waiting time was considerably more.

Like I've said, I was going to have my 535's ( which do sound very good ) reshelled with three added drivers taking my 535's to six drivers same as the Miracle, but was advised to get the Miracle instead.
I've never had any high end custom IEM's so I'm looking forward to hearing how the Miracle sounds compared to my HD-600 ( with the 4 pin silver custom cable ) and SR-009's.
When you receive your UM Miracles wulfshayde, I hope you enjoyed them.

I am sure I will enjoy them when they arrive.

This is the UM news post I refer to when I say 8-12 weeks. Seems like forever when waiting for something so awesome! :D

I have a simple question. Would you guys suggest me using 901 or ak120 to drive the Miracle? I found that some guys from erji.net say that the ak120 drive low impedance IEM better than 901. So I really want to know any of your experience. smily_headphones1.gif
