Unique Melody Miracle Review & Impressions Thread - Page 83

I love my Miracle yet if i am going for another one for fun i think i will go for 8.A :P i heard that it is quite different yet nice

I'm toying with the idea of getting a pair of Miracles in a few months time.

Would like to ask: how neutral are the Miracles? I've done abit of poking around and looking at the FR charts and notion of a "slight U-shaped sound" has me concerned.

My current IEMs are the Frogbeats C4 and I've had the Heir 4.A before.

Thanks

I compared the jh13 to the 1+2 in the Tralucent thread so you can check that. 13 should have similar overall bass quantity to Miracle though more low bass biased. The 16 will have more bass in general.

very nice detailed review Mimouille!

Would u say that the presentation of the Miracles are also like the HD800?

I'm still waiting for my Miracles and hope to have them at the end of this month. Until then, I will be using 1plus2.

I read someone said HD800 is quite imba. Too bright treble, and too forward midrange. So Miracles is better than HD800.

If the 8.a sounds like the 5.0, like they are supposed to, then indeed very different...much more laid back and smooth.

I have never owned neutral Iems. I can tell you that they are not a strongly colored iem at all, just a very slight bass emphasis, but less than the 334 by far.

Any feelings after you got your Miracles?

How about paired with Ipod Classic without amps. Still sounds good?

The Miracles will definitely benefit with a good amp, but the Clip should also do a fine job given its low output impedance. I've just ordered a Clip Zip to compare with various iPods, Cowon X7, Walkman and eventually a Tera Player.

Hi, with regards to hd800 I'll have to explain some things 'bout it.

Yes everything is pretty much subjective 'coz that's just the way it is.

The hd800 isn't imbalance. The treble isn't too bright too. Forward midrange, not even to me (which might be to some but in comparison to he-6, lcd3 all on stock cables, they are more forward than hd800)
They are very well balanced from bottom to top. They will sound bright if u come from a dark/warm. Most importantly, the sources and amps u use with them. Imho, the hd800 is also almost power hungry like the he-6. You need a very very good quality of source, amp, interconnects, cables to use for them to sound at their full glory. All of the things u mentioned above will be gone 101% guaranteed. Those things happen if they are underpowered. I've experienced those things before. They are just quite revealing if the mastering/recording is sibilant. But it doesn't hurt as much if they are properly matched with the right source/amp. They are really that good I tell u. I won't listen to them 1 week before i get my Miracles.

@Mimouille

I guess i really have to wait then for me to find out.

I will post my meticulous impression in comparison to the 1plus2 after i have them.

But for now, I have a feeling that I would really like them given the fact that Mimouille said that the 1plus2 is a bit more forward on the Miracles especially the mids or vocals.
I still find the vocals of the 1plus2 forward for my liking. But imho, I do find it perfect already with regards to distance which would be really good for others. On the other hand, I just hope that the distance of the midrange of Miracles wouldn't be too far like the Ex1000.

I very would like to know if Miracles have a huge soundstage as those headphones do.

It's given a lot of mysteries, and expectation on my upcoming Miracles.
