I was thinking of maybe having the end product a little thicker than it was before, That way, even if the canal is long, it won't move around.

You can try the nail polish trick then. Apply a thin layer on the area on the bend that you feel is loose.

If the inside is too thick it might make things worse for you

So is nail polish a safe option to add some thickness if needed? I wondered what might be safe to use there.

Anyone know how long the backlog is in the lab because of CNY?  Ordered my Miracles over 6 weeks ago......

I asked Stephen right after CNY about the backlog. He said there were hardly any.

So i guess there are not any right now either. 

over 6 weeks is weird. You really should contact UM directly.

Where did you order your miracles? UM AUS?

 

Here is my story:

I asked UM lab yesterday. They said my impressions didn't arrive yet for sure.

But according to UM Aus's email, my impressions are in construction queue. That's weird :(

i am crazy enough to make another pair! cause atm i got no HQ headphone at all so if i needed a refit i wont send the miracle and stay like this without music :(

I felt the same, but my budget led me to buy the GR07s as a stand-in and I have to say I'm very impressed! They are kind of like the Miracles in signature and style only less refined and accurate due to 1 x dynamic vs 6 x BA drivers I guess.

Since my Miracles are at the lab for repair, I am glad I have the 1plus2 as my alternative. They are awesome if you like the Miracles...

Nope, you can read my preliminary impressions in the 1plus2 thread. Different presentation, but both are detailed and spacious in my opinion.
