I heard about the JH13 sounding like the HD800, is this true? The HD800 is my favorite headphone, surpassing any headphone you can think of, even the SR-009. Is this true?

If you only want CIEMs, just ignore what i said. I am not an expert of CIEMs.

However, CIEMs will highly depend on yourself due to your unique ear, impressions and brain:)

No one really can help you out unless you've built your own propensity.

Like my experience, after i got To Go! 334 (even though this IEM is great), i found i prefer a very neutral sound with natural but a little colored midrange, compact, still impactful bass and smooth highs.

I've found what I like. Neutral, smooth midrange, not very impactful bass as not many genres of mine use bass, and a bit of recessed highs + smooth. I like a real smooth sound and I like it laid-back.

He said 1+2 has a great soundstage better than To Go! 334 and JH16, and its overall tune sounds very neutral. According to his brief description, it seems Miracles are similar to 1+2.
BTW, there are some people already mentioning 1+2, but i have no idea if they've owned it or not. You can find their remarks in last few pages.

However, i do NOT recommend these custom-style universal IEMs.
Usually they are slightly expensive than UM flagship, Miracles (950 dollars). They do NOT offer perfect isolation and fitness as those well-done CIEMs offer either.(If your impressions of CIEM is not perfectly done, fitness and isolation will be another story to tell.)
The only advantages they have is to simplify the time of making your impressions and waiting for the finished unit.
You have none of these yet soyou should not make such strong recommendations. Wolf, if you want CIEMs close to neutral yet not quite, very musical, detailed and spacious / airy, with awesome bass quality, you cannot go wrong with the Miracles. The 1p2 are awesome too though. If you want enhanced bass and really warm mids Miracles are not for you.

that is far from true...please people do not repeat stuff if you have not confirmed it with your own ears.

It seems almost everyone did so.
once again that is not true, it is just that you hear more about people with fit issues.

I agree about the Miracles recommendation.

I was slightly worried when I ordered the Miracles because I enjoy detail, but like a smooth, laid-back presentation (HD650s are my all-time favourite full size). I was worried the Miracles would be too forward in the treble, but they're great. More forward than the HD650s so they have more detail / resolution, but they aren't harsh or fatiguing at all and are surprisingly forgiving on poor recordings. You can tell it's a poor recording, but it doesn't leave your ears bleeding like some other high end IEMs I've tried.

Too true. Too often we find posters who champion a particular product and all that information they have may be borne from hearsay i.e. what they have read on the boards. Thus the whole flavour of the month issue. It is one thing to have heard and then recommend, another to recommend off stuff you read, and quite another to recommend with a disclaimer that you've never heard them at all.

Ok then.

I think nobody is clear how many percentages of refit in UM Lab. And I am pretty sure you have no idea about the exact possibility for refit either. So how are you so sure and "once again that is not true"?

And there are a lot of people feel uncomfortable with their CIEM but still have no idea what they should do with it. They should have taken a refit. These exceptions even are not collected.

I'd love to ask Stephen Guo, if he is willing to answer me this question.

Sorry.

I really don't think what i said is  " such strong recommendations." You are exaggerating too much, man.

I have already declared that was my friend's opinion and feeling. None of these were based on mine.

So just try to make some possible choices for Wolf according to Wolf's requirements.

The one who makes the final decision will always and must be himself.

And I am NOT working for Tralucent Audio.

I have never heard the JH13's or the SR-009's. I will let you know about the JH16's tomorrow..:) Maxvla has heard the Stax and still likes the HD800's I love mine. I love the wide soundstage.
