this is a fact that you should spread around..

I mean about the down-sampling. I thought that was a matter of the past...

I only use basic flac 16/44.

Well, I asked a question about 24 bit files and the first reply said I was dead wrong and that the 601 DID play 24 bits. So I felt like I had to get to the bottom of it seeing as the forum didn't seem to agree on the matter. So I asked Fang and now I know. Obviously if you play 16 bit files you don't have to care about it, that goes without saying. If by doing this I've somehow made an ass of myself, I'm fine with that.

Yeah, and that makes the Ibasso Dx100 more attractive now, so did they confirm when you will get your's, back?

No you haven't you've made an ass of someone who tried to make you look like an ass ;). Obviously not everyone knew and you've helped in that regard. Thanks.

They said once they have the new firmware in a short while (maybe a few days) they will update my player with it and ship it back to me. They replaced my screen as it was defective. Can't wait to have "an armed and fully operational battle-station" :)
