Headroom MicroDAC 2006 owner need m2Tech Hi-Face?

As the title says: does a Headroom MicroDAC 2006 owner need a computer transport output such as the m2Tech Hi-Face?

 

I know the HR Micro has USB capability of 24/192, therefore limited compared to the 24/192 m2Tech, so I am seeking advice as to whether I would get a worthwhile SQ upgrade.

 

Also does anybody know if my DAC is limited to 24/96, even if I send it a 24/192 signal from a m2Tech Hi-Face?

Incase anyone is interested, the 2006 MicroDAC accepts 24/192, but only 24/96 through USB.

 

As for my original question, I guess it boils down to another M2tech Hiface or Xonar/Auzentech thread, as the S/PDIF inputs on the DAC seem to outperform the USB.
