Poor isolation with SE535s and Comply?

It has been about 2-3 weeks that I bought my SE535s and enjoy it a lot!

 

However, there is a slight issue that I found (for me anyways). Just before buying the SE535s, I had some SE115M+ and bought some Comply tips because it would be compatible with the SE535s as well.

 

With the SE115M+ (worn over the ear), the comply would block a lot of external noise, while being extremely comfy.

Now, with the SE535s, there is a lot of noise that bleeds into the seal which sort of annoys me (I love being isolated when listening to music in the subway).

 

My questions are:

1. What would cause that?

2. How should I fix that? Buying a bigger size of Complys? Getting the long version instead of the standard one?

Getting a longer one could possibly help. Since the 535 is pretty bulky it is probably weighing on the normal seal. So getting a larger one (to me) would work better. Than again I dont have these. Its just my 2 cents

Seems fair and helpful.

Shipping to Canada is a bit crazy though (about the same price as the tips), so I just want to be sure.

 

Anybody else?

I'd play with the fit as is first. I also found the fit of the 530 without the heavier swivel memory cable better but others feel the opposite. May just be horses for courses.

I bought the lighter cable for my SE535s (the one compatible with iPhones).

It's very light now, so I don't think is the problem.

 

I'm just not sure if I should go for longer or bigger.

Mess with all of the sizes that they give you; I'm using the regular sized ones; also make sure you put them in your ears right; just shoving them in all the way might not give y ou great isolation and sound.
