Woo Audio WA5 and Klipsch loudspeakers

Hi,

I ordered WA5 with premium parts upgrade and teflon tube socket a week ago. I would like to say thank you for great comments in this forum and also thanks a lot to sillysallytakezo, jamato8 for their advices. beerchug.gif

Now I am wondering if anyone have a chance to listen WA5 with Klipsch Cornwalls III or Heresy III loudspeakers... Or share your experiences with other high efficiency loudspeakers in combination with WA5.

Budget: around $4000

Thank you in advance.

I have not heard the WA5 with Klipsch speakers but as a former owner of Klipsch I have no doubt it will drive the Cornwalls fine.

I bought the first pair of Forte thatarrived to my dealer back when they were origianlly launch. Back then I did not want to buy the Heresy due to their limited bass response but when they came out with the Forte (same elements as the heresy but in a bigger box and a passive radiator) that was a no brainer for me. later down the road I upgraded to the Cornwall. I was in the position to be able to upgrade to the Belle or even the K-horn but I truley believe the Cornwall is the most balanced sound speaker within the Klipsch heritage series.

If you go with Klipsch I would advice you to take a close look to the Cornwall.

I haven't tried that specific combination so can't answer quality-wise, but power-wise, no problem at all ... I have a pair of Klipsch La Scalas at my beach house and (because I had a broken eighth-inch-to-RCA cable lying around) I took off the RCAs and twisted the cable into the speaker cable ... and my iPhone drove the La Scalas plenty loud.  I love those things!
