I have an unstarted pimeta amp. As my eyes aren't as sharp and hands not as steadyas they use to be, I was wondering if anyone would willing to do the smd soldering for me. Send me a PM or hit me at ericspaw at hotmail.
thanks

if we are talking about the same amp, i don't think there is any smd soldering required on the pimeta....
Some recommended caps are SMD, and the buffers are also SMD. If you want to directly solder the opamps (like the AD8620/AD8610), that's SMD too. This is assuming Pimeta v2.
agreed, but the amp as designed, can be built with no smd work at all.
I'd be happy to do any soldering you can't do yourself, including SMD. I'm in the W burbs...

thanks for the offer of help. I've built a couple of Cmoys and a Soha, but never dealt with smds. I needed a magnifier light for the ones I built already;>). Whats the best way to take care of this?
Eric
Not if it's a v2 board. The buffers are SMD-only. The only way to avoid this bit of SMD soldering is to jumper them, which requires an SMD-size jumper, which is only easier than installing the buffer because it's 2 solder points per buffer instead of 8.
