Marantz SA7S1 CD Player -> Violectric V800 DAC -> Violectric V200 Amp -> JH13

 

Very smooth, slightly warm sound with amazing imaging! A great match for my JH13's. I also tried the T1's and HD800's with the setup but the JH13's had the best synergy with it.

Shanling T300 -> HEV90 -> HE90

Shanling T200 -> Angstrom Research -> R10

Unlnown source -> Pete Millett 307a proto -> balanced Senn 6x0

Ayon CD-1 (6h30-DR) -> Cavalli Liquid Fire -> LCD2

Cambridge 840c -> Blue Hawaii -> HE60

Cary (something) -> Apex Pinnacle -> HD800

 

Many woulda/coulda/shoulda, but there are things I don't like (OII, K1k, Meridian, cheap el34s) that made certain things not quite so memorable.
