Hi. I have a pair of DT770 pro 80 ohm headphones and i don't know how ( I think the wire got caught underneath my computer chair) but the wire has been severed. It's still under warranty but the standard 1 year warranty you get when you buy it and looking at this http://shop.polaraudio.co.uk/support.asp It doesn't seem like they will fix it under warranty, and I don't want to pay an inspection fee for them to do nothing. I have three questions.
1. Does anybody have any clue whether they would actually replace the cable under warranty
2. How easy is it to replace the cable myself?
3.Has anybody every bought anything from this site http://www.thomann.de/gb/beyerdynamic_dt_770_pro_ersatzkabel_glatt.htm as that is the only place that I have found the cable so far.
