Where to get replacement midwoofers/tweeters for speakers?

Thread Starter

I am trying to rebuild some klipsch promedia ultras and maybe upgrade them a tiny bit as they might be used with a receiver instead.

The stats are 3" fiber composite woofer and a Microtractrix tweeter (25mm).  I know the power handling is 60 watts/ channel and there seems to be a crossover inside. They go up to 20khz too.

What else do i need to know?

Where can I get replacements?

what you're proposing is more difficult to do well than you think it is. You will need to know the volume and configuration of the cabinets and then use that knowledge to select drivers based on their T/S parameters.

also, this is the wrong site - go ask again in one of the speaker forums at diyaudio.
