I was wondering if I could get any advice on what to do in my situation.
I bought a pair of Ultrason HFI-780 headphones from RMC Audio in February 2009. Earlier in the month, I noticed that the sound started to give static whenever I would move the cable around. I checked my amp to make sure it wasn't the amp, but it was definitely the headphones.
I contacted the seller to try to find what type of warranty these headphones have since i could not find ANYTHING on the Ultrasone website. I then was given a phone number and email to contact. I spoke to someone on the phone and she told me she would get me the steps that I needed to to have them repaired. I waited three days and called again, same lady, gave her my information again, waited another three days, sent an email this time, still no response.
I do not know what to do in this situation, does anyone have a direct contact rather than a receptionist I could contact about this matter? I would hate for this experience to leave a dire taste in my mouth. What is the point of spending $200+ (may not seem alot to of head-fiers) if the company wont even honor their warranty or at least respond to me.
*I was told by the receptionist that these headphones have a 2 year warranty on them.
Thanks,
-Starang
