Looking for the best for my needs pair of IEM's/earphones for under $200.

I don't know much about earphones so that is why I am looking for help. But when I was looking into them a while back I got a lot of recommendationsfor the Radius DDM's and sennheiser IE8's.

I want a pair that has great "boomy(?)" bass. As in gets very deep and low, as I listen to a lot of dubstep and trance.

Don't mind so much on the treble as long as it is not bad, and just clear sound overall, I cannot stand muddy music.

I don't plan on buying any amps or anything of that sort.

And just for them to be comfortable, although I know that one is sort of hard to gauge as it depends on the person mostly.

All help will be appreciated.

Why don't you get Radius DDM or IE8?

This match your descriptions very well.

I was just wondering if there were any other ones that were possibly better. Just exploring all my options is all.

Better then DDM  is HA-FX700 but this are 360USD or so.

Re252 is another option, but i have not owned this one yet.

HJE900 is very nice but I am not sure about its price.

How are the Monster Turbine Pro Gold and Copper? There are used pairs of Gold for around 150.

I do not like how they sound or how they look at all...

Yello, I wouldn't recommend the RE252 for boomy bass at all.

It sounds from your descriptions that the I8 and DDM are your best bet Venta. You're looking for a high quality dynamic driver IEM essentially. The Turbines would also be a pretty good bet. You may want to wait around and see how the next version of the DDM's sound (may not be until January of next year) or reviews of Sony's new high end dynamics.

Oh sorry my bet, I missed that detail. Are you planing to get hand on new Radius model?

Well Dmitri told me that the new DDM is delayed and won't be avaiiable until January of next year. I'll definitely buy a pair as soon as it is released (won't even wait for reviews hehe.) I'm still very much in love with my DDM's, though my A1's have taken the edge off a little.

You probably will be the first one to own new Radius DDM

So A1 so far working good for you ah, what about the cable, is it really bad? Have you tried the  new e-Q5 yet?

Okay so cross out the RE252's. I didn't like their look anyways.

And out of the Copper and Gold which one would be better for me? As in a review I read the Golds were more oriented towards bass while the Coppers treble. Is that true?

Am I allowed to bump on this site? Well if so or if not right now. Bump.

What I love about the IE8 is that it has such a "dynamic" changing sound that I am absolutely thrilled to say you won't be disappointed. It easily provides excellent mid-range for guitars, throbbing bass for electronic/hip-hop beats, and the highs are unearthly. All you have to do is switch tips and viola :P

IE8 over MTPC/MTPG in terms of clarity/detail and overall customability.

Okay so, so the general opinion are the IE8's?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0012XFDWE/sr=8-1/qid=1290189110/ref=olp_tab_refurbished?ie=UTF8&coliid=&me=&qid=1290189110&sr=8-1&seller=&colid=&condition=refurbished

These are legitimate right? They say they are an authorized dealer, and it comes with a warranty.

Is anyone extremely against these and think I should get a different pair? If not I will be ordering them within the next few days.
