i did see that its just I'm in Ireland and there is nothing similar available via Amazon.co.uk.

 

I'd have to go through .com and they can be a little funny about what they will or won't deliver to ireland. It can be pretty hit or miss.

 

I still have some of my prime trial left though... maybe they'll 2day it to me :P

From the OP's pictures this looks a lot nicer than the banana stands I've seen (with the hooks) - looks too good to pass up - I'll be ordering one from Amazon.

Just got back from my local Home Depot and they were all sold out of the hose hooks.  But yes, they are the Rubbermaid FastTrack hose hooks positively identified on page 2.

I was thinking it might be easy to just put a wood hat on it where it would usually attach to that rack

Fantastic. Now that we know it's a hose hook, we can start telling everyone else about them, instead of the blasted banana hooks which don't quite work with all headphones.

Well we know they work fine for Grados fitted with the thicker J-Money leather headbands and anything similar.  Not sure how it will fare  with headphones with a wider band at the mid-point like the AKG 701.  Then again I don't think it's necessary for the headband to fit into the locking groove/niche as I'm sure your cans would still hang fine resting on top of it.
