Where in Lowe's (department) did you find that stand?

Thanks

With smaller more portable cans, you can easily fit two headphone onto one stand.  My HD 205 II and ATH-M30 fit perfectly onto one stand, but larger cans (my DT990s, ATH-M50 aor HD 280 Pro) pretty much take up the whole thing.

PS. My apologies for the poor quality pics, but that's all I can do at the moment. If you guys want a better look, I will try harder.

Even nicer, where did you get these?

They were in the gardening department on my local Lowes (South San Fran, CA) along the other various gardening tools organization items.

It is the ClosetMaid All Purpose Hang Up; somehow still had the packaging around LOL

Looks like it is this one on www.lowes.com  Item #: 116345  |  Model #: 93531- but with foam padding.

I found them in the UK for all you UK'ers:

Yups, but I would describe the coating more like the heavy duty truck bed liner type than foam.

Good info!!! I live in South San Francisco too. I'll definitely swing by and check these out later today. :D

In that case, when you enter the store, go all the way to the left to the greenhouse/outdoor gardening area entrance (but don't go in).  These should be to the right of that door couple racks down with various lawn/garden furniture in front of them (at least when I picked them up).  It might be easy to miss them as there were not a lot of them and they were obscured by some of the larger quantity items...I think they were on the 3rd or 4th shelf from the ground middle of rack.

Btw, slightly off topic, is that 4G63 evo block in your avatar? Those look like some nice forged pistons.

Foam - truck bed liner = semantics

Another Head-Fi member around the forums once mentioned Woo Audio Aluminum Headphone Stand - HPS-H. It isn't very expensive.

I actually prefer the way the $10 hose hooks look and present the headphones compared to those aluminum stands.

I'm planning on swinging by tomorrow morning to pick one up. Thanks!

And yeah, it's a 4G63 block for my Evo. I actually just sold it a couple months ago.

It's a 2.3 stroker... 4G64 crank, Manly forged i-beam rods, ACL bearings, JE forged (top and side coated) pistons, ARP fasteners, etc etc. lol. I had it paired with a GT3076R with a .82 a/r. It made the same power on 91 octane that my car did before on the stock block with C16 fuel. I never had the opportunity to take the 2.3 stroker to the drag strip, but on the stock block, it ran 11.4@122 at Infineon Raceway. I only got one run, because they kicked me out for not having a roll cage. =/

Here's a pic of the Evo.

Btw, turns out the directions I gave you is for the San Bruno Lowes (on El Camino)...South San Francisco Lowes (of 101) is going to have them in Home Organization in section 37.F.3 (I went back yesterday to the former to pick up one more, but they were out and South City's wasn't...the clerk pointed out my mistake LOL). Sorry.
