Hey folks,
not to jack the thread or anything, well not too much! but my query is along the same lines.
I'm just trying to plan ahead more than anything else it'll be a while before i have the funds to eh...fund any of this.
Just ordered my Little Dot MKIV and next on the list is a LD DAC_I which at some point I'd like to hook up to a turntable, ideally a used sl1200 or Project debut, what I'm wondering is would it be possible to run the TT to the DAC_I via a phono stage with usb out? and then somehow go back to a set of active monitors using the MK IV as a preamp?
would i be better off just skipping the usb part and just going straight back into the MKIV from the TT? i guess I'm just trying to skip the cable switching part of the process? would there be much SQ degradation using usb?
It makes sense in my head but i'm quite new to all this so please point out any glaringly obvious mistakes i might be making. also if you guys could suggest a phono stage with usb out that would be great, i was having a hard time finding something suitable.
oh and if i don't here back in the next 7 minutes I'm gonna start whining! seriously...
