I present to you, ladies and gentlemen, the fail of the year in soccer, and likely in all of sports this year:

 

 

Just for reference, the guy's team ended up losing 1-0 in extra time.biggrin.gif

Wow, I'm pretty sure he had time to take a better touch. Maybe the excitement was just too overwhelming.

I don't know what that keeper was doing but he's lucky the guy missed the net.

That's what makes this whole thing one huge fail... the goalkeeper choked horribly on that play but because of the even BIGGER fail, not many people probably even noticed!

Hahaha when he first turned around I thought his last name started with "fail" at quick glance. Now that would have been awesome.
