Oh, well that helps. Have you used the CMoyBB (or anyone else for that matter)? I'm leaning on the PIMETA v2 right now.

This was confirmed in another thread, but you can't build the PIMETA V2 without SMD soldering - at least for the two output buffers (SOIC-8).  (This is making note of your first post where you state that you don't get along with SMD soldering at all.)
