Some questions about Woo Audio amps

I have been wanting to get a tube amp to pair with my Koss A250s for a while and have decided now is the time. I haven't been on here for a while and seems like their has been an explosion of new gear. Last I checked the Woo Audio amps seemed like the benchmark in the $5-600 range. Is that still the case? I have a few questions:

 

1. Are there any cheaper tube amps that come anywhere near the Woo Audio amps?

 

2. What's the difference between the WA 3 and 6?

 

3. Would I get more bang for buck upgrading tubes on the WA3 or getting a standard WA6?

 

Any Aussie head-fiers, how much did it cost to ship it here and did you get charged duty?

BUMP.

So I have answered some of the questions above.

 

Still interested in bang for buck comparisons of the WA3 and cheaper tune amps.

Also, any Aussies that have imported them.

You might want to look at the Schitt Valhalla.  Its cheaper than the Woo, and is said to have a wonderful sound by the prominent members who have reviewed it.

Took 2 weeks to arrive to Sydney, no duty, US$105.
