THE best female vocals? (your favorite female singers) - Page 60

The Staves

How have I never heard of them!?

when i post a cover of a Ray Lamontagne song that means i must really be impressed.  Covering a Ray song truly well is like.. well its like doing something very difficult.

Hello! Please recommend me some singers similar to Sarah Brightman and Haley Westenra.

For my JPOP lovers, I don't think I found a person who made me go "I'm IN LOVE WITH THIS WOMAN'S VOICE" other than Hitomi Kuroishi. LOVE LAST EXILE.

Oh and please list any names of female singers, whose songs are always registered in the high notes. No pop singers like Mariah Carey. Please list names of singers like Sarah Brightman.

Thanks.

Far superior to Sarah Brightman, IMHO, but in terms of high notes, Kate Bush would be a classic choice...

She's good, but she is not the type of female singer that I'm looking for. I'm looking for a female singer whose songs are arranged in the high notes...something like a Sarah Brightman and Haley Westenra, but somewhat similar to Angel Voices...but female.

ZZ Ward...just found out about her yesterday and been listening to her stuff all day. Blues with some hip-hop influence...
