I've been a big fan of Skylar Grey for a while (long time actually) and a few tracks on her new album are amazing.  I particularly like Back from the Dead, Final Warning, and Tower.

Sarah Blasko has been mentioned a couple times, but never posted.  Good Stuff!  Her voice reminds of Lisa Hannigan.  No complaints there ;-)

A few of my favorites in no particular order: Andrea Corr, Eva Cassidy, Ann Wilson, Neko Case, Aimee Mann, Grace Potter.

Here's another non-english singer (in this instance singing in English). She clearly struggles to pronounce the word 'the', but otherwise not a bad voice:
