Oatley K272A build

I was asked by a member to build them a K272A, they had the parts but not the time

This is what happened

Loads of very clear instructions infact the board is so simple you really don't need instructions, its like painting by numbers

Filling the board was quick and easy

I wasn't keen on the small output caps so I used some 1000uf Nichicons, same with the input caps they were increased to 1.0uf WIMA's I used gold plated IC sockets instead of the cheap ones supplied

The sound is very good for something this simple and its running off batteries!!!

The bass is excellent partly due to the extra capacitance

Please understand this has been made purely for fun and the new owner is only paying for parts and postage, (no labour or profit)

sometimes its fun just to make something you haven't done before :-)

will not be selling these

just sharing

cheers

FRED
