Iriver H120 Shuffle?

Thread Starter

I just bought a used H120 and downloaded some tunes. Is there any way I can get these to shuffle? When I start the unit it says it is version 1.60 U. Should I upgrade? I am not very good when it comes to upgrading , etc. I just want it to shuffle my tunes. I have an Ibasso D10 and was thinking of getting the optic stuff from sys. instead of buying a headphone amp, but I want the right player, Any Iriver gurus, Please help!!

Thanks

Is the H120 running Rockbox? (http://www.rockbox.org/) If not it's highly recommended.

Not sure about the standard firmware but shuffle is a standard rockbox feature.

H120 > toslink > D10 is a very nice sounding rig btw, enjoy :)

First get rid of stock firmware, and install Rockbox. And get a optical cable my D12 sounds better than the line ouput into the D12. Haven't used stock firmware for years.
