Snapped Sennheisers

So I just received my Sennheiser HD25-1 iis today, and though this is off topic, they sound amazing.

They were on the side of my backpack in class, and my teacher stepped on them, snapping the headphone connector piece.  One of the headphones is dangling there.

So my question is: Does the Sennheiser warranty cover any accidental damage/would they repair this for a low cost?  She offered to pay me full price (160) but I feel bad because it's a large amount of money.  Are there any alternatives here?

Well you can email them (i assume you can leave out the "someone stepped on them") but if they repair for free, you could probably purchase the headband for a certain cost (possibly just that joint onwards? - I am not familiar with the mounting mechanism of the HD25)

Well, I'm dumb.  I realize now that all I  need is this piece. Does anyone know if its easy to get?

looks like senn do offer spare parts for it.

http://shop.sennheiserusa.com/retail2002/ProductDetails.aspx?direct_cat=Parts&direct_prod=048234  :)  try and contact them and see if they're just willing to sell you that small piece for a cheaper price

I ordered the headband piece, as I didn't see any other options for a smaller piece.   :(
