It's the juxtapostion between escaping the damaged cruise ship and the Princess Cruises ad.

For some reason that cruise ship story reminded me of the guy in Sydney who got on the train to work and was trapped for 6 hours

Wouldn't the damaged ship have to be a Princess Cruises cruise to be truely ironic?

Haha that's hilarious.

 

It's like when you used to type something into google and you'd get the ads on the side saying "buy xxxx cheap today at xxx!," no matter what it was. I was doing an assignment in high school on aboriginals at the time.. "buy cheap aboriginals today!". >.>
