By the way, I use these little computer speakers (not cheap,though) that I think are fantastic, and are just really natural but don't boom or sound brash or anything.
I can just lean into the music and get immersed, but they are not muffled or anything.
They are the little Quad 9Ls for $800 new. If I was looking for speakers, I would try and hear the other Quads in this line (I have not heard any myself, though).
With other computer speakers, I always needed to turn the treble down, but then they sounded rolled off. The Quads have no tone controls, but just sound great as is.
