HE-4 is the single end version of HE-5LE: Very similar sound signature. Because HE-4 only have 50% magnet in HE-5LE, it is much lighter (350g).

Close to the right price for me to have a taste of planar sound...

 

Humble suggestion : Why not include a pair of RE0 with the HE-4 as a temporary promotion (same as with the HM-601).

Hi Mr. Fang  have a couple of question for you:

 

(I would like to run the HE-4 off the speaker terminals.)

 

Does the stock cable have 4 wires?

 

I am thinking of getting this cable from you and leaving the stock one intact: http://www.head-direct.com/product_detail.php?p=86

 

Do you have any photo of it and is it better than the stock HE-4 cable?

 

Is it possible to make an adapter to use this balanced cable with a speaker amp?

i spend $300 on my HD600(got a deal) then spent $100 on Upgrade cable (Mogami 24AWG x4 with Furutech plug) :P
