Home theater speakers for someone that likes the sound signature of the AKG-K701/702s

I looking to get some home theater speakers now that I have myself a real receiver (Denon AVR-1911).  I'm only looking to pick up the front three right now so the front left and right speakers and the center.

I've read recommendations for so many different speakers across a myriad of forums and really what I'm looking for is the sound I get of of my AKGs. I understand of course it won't be as intimate of a listening experience but I like the forward emphasis somewhat leaner bass of the AKG headphones I have.  I would like to find some speakers that share those characteristics, like the extremely revealing detail.

I hope to get some some suggestions and possibly some agreement.

Oh and I almost forgot. My budget is around $600 +/- $25. This includes shipping.

How big of room are you going to be putting these in? What will be the main use (movie%/music%)?

The room I would say is about 25x20. As for percentages, 70% movies, 30% music.

This is a small bit over your budget (659.64 shipped to lower 48), but you need to really check them out.  Excellent reviews.

These have been discontinued but Vann's always seems to be able to aquire them for special purchases.  The supllies go pretty quick though because they are very popular on some of the AV forums such as avsforum.com.  Really need to research them

Just did some checking on AVS and they are saying that the OMD5 will also work very well as a center channel  which would put you well under 600.  This would allow to start saving for a sub.  I did not state this earlier, but I own the Mirage OS3 series (towers, center, sats hooked up to a Denon AVR 2809CI) and am very pleased with them.  They have smaller drivers than the OMD's but still perform very well in my living room which is almost as large as the room you are talking about.
