It unscrews but it's super simple. Only issue I had was one of my screws was broken off from the factory. Other than that never had an issue dissembling/'re assembling

Ok so what'll you want to do is remove the baffle off and put the shelf liner above the round felt and under the plastic baffle (sandwich in between). Then rescrew the baffle back on and test. You'll need to trim the shelf liner to make way for the screws as well, simple enough. If the shelf liner gets wavy as you screw the baffle down, you'll want to back the screws out loose (not off) and press the middle of the liner down slightly to make it tight while you tighten the screws down.

Tighten the screws like you would a car wheel, get the screws down to a stop with no torque (all of them) then torque a little more so it turns 1/16" of a turn. When you torque them down, don't go from a one screw to the next, you'll want to do a cross pattern.

Not I.  I'm actually going to be putting mine up on the classifieds tonight or tomorrow.  Sad to see them go so soon, but I can't afford to keep all these headphones.  I'll remember them fondly tho, they were an important stepping stone for me.

I bought the right shelf liner per recommended by the mods thread. If anyone wants some liner mailed I'd be willing to send two square cuts to someone willing to try it on their HE4. Hemi?

I know this wasn't directed to me, but I'd be willing to pay for that liner if you ship enough to do the mod my way too.

Alright guys, couple of things to take note on. Looking at the liner there's a rounder side and a flatter side, the flatter side is towards the driver and rounder side towards your ear. Also make sure the pattern is going vertical and not horizontal or diagonally. You want it to follow the vertical pattern of the diaphragm's metallic part.

Also be sure to cut space where screws will go through the edge of the liner. Should be a simple 30m mod if not less. Also tighten the screws in a star pattern like you would a car wheel.
