Just to preface, please excuse my severe lack of knowledge in the subject of turntables. I've looked through many other threads and done a lot of searching but I haven't really found any recommendations for a player within my price range.
I'm looking for a cheap turntable for around $100 or less. I know I really can't get any good quality sound from something like that but I really just want something to replace this piece of junk record player/casette/radio combo I bought at a garage sale years ago. As for requirements of the record player it must have phono inputs. I don't do any DJing, I just want to listen to some classical records I have, so I suppose I'd want a belt driven system (at least that's what I've heard). I don't care for a USB connection, but that seems to be what most of these cheap players have, so I guess it doesn't matter.
So a few that I've been looking at are:
Sony PS-LX250H
Audio Technica LP-60
Audio Technica LP-120 (found one used for under $100, owner claims it's in perfect condition)
So, I know it's hard to recommend something of this cheap quality, but if anyone has any recommendations for a new player, whether it's one of these or something else, I'd love to hear your suggestions.
Thanks
