Hi I am wondering if this dac will improve buy adding a digiatal transport into the chain.  At the moment I am just connecting it str8 to the USB of my PC and it sounds good.

It seems like the marked is pretty crowded but I need 1 which has an external power supply and clocks under $200. I don't need any additional inputs or outputs.

I am looking at the following

Firestrone Bravo

Musiland 02

Audio GD DI

Any1 got any experience with these or any other suggestions?

The Chameleon has a tenor chip in the usb input, i recommend you get a usb isolator to add galvanic isolation on the usb input, that will make a big improvement for little money.

Ok what about a digital transport tho?  Does it help reduce jitter?
