Need DAC for computer for under $150

I've been looking around for a way to improve my listening experience at minimal damage to my wallet. I was scoping out the uDAC 2-HP I can't find a store besides amazon that will let me buy it, so I'm just curious if theres anymore USB DACs I could use for my computer that are pretty cheap?

I'm running this into a ATH M50. Should I just pay the extra $30 and get the uDAC 2, is it worth it you think?

Well I'm selling my uDac-1 on here for $50 shipped if you're interested.

I got really really impatient I just blew the $30 and bought the uDAC 2 from Crutchfield, but I appreciate the offer.

The uDAC2 is a great choice. I used to have an Icon HDP and it was fantastic value.

No problem! The uDac-2 does have a better amp than the first. Good luck with it!

Yeah I'm really stoked for it, because I guess since it's really light, the priority shipping was cheaper than ground shipping, and it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. (That's 2 days of shipping). I got tomorrow off for veterans day so I know what I'm doing biggrin.gif

Also, do DACs need to be "burned in?" lol just curious.

Well I didn't think my uDac-1 changed with burn-in, but the uDac-2 I gave to my gf sure seemed to after about 50-75 hours.

Really? I didn't expect that. I'm interested to see then what comes out of it, because I'm enjoying it already!
