So I recently purchased the Denon AH D2000 headphones and I find the stock cables that it comes with TOO long. Well TBH I wanted these for portable uses (I know some ppl may advise not to use these for portable uses). I was wondering if shortening the cable from 3m to around 1.5m would reduce quality of sound or reduce anything that is important (besides the length of the cable obviously)?
Also, just out of curiousity, when measuring a cable lenght do you start from where the cable connects to the headphones or where the cables join up from the Y connection (i dunno if that makes sense) and do you end at where the jack is or before the jack.
