What is the best audio source for my computer? - Page 2

If you meant copying tracks to your DAP by synching, then foobar has that feature. Otherwise, with certain version of apple product you can use foo_dop.

I also recommend foobar, by far the best.

@A1811 why dont you just download foobar since its free and see how you like it. its not like if you download foobar you can no longer try any other media players.

Hi. I have finally downloaded Foobar 2000 and it's great in every single way. However, because this doesn't have EQ presets for techno, electronic, bass, rock, etc. you have to adjust the EQ accordingly. I have tried once to create a good preset but it didn't work well at all.

Can anyone tell me how I should adjust the EQ to find a preset that works well with all genres of music?

Thank You to everyone who recommended this but could I please have some help with the EQ?

EQ's aren't the easiest things to work out on foobar, This link: http://sjeng.org/ftp/fb2k/eq_presets.zip has a lot which can be used ( I think they're winamp ones and that's the main way it's been done over the years. You can't (to my knowledge) apply certain eq presets to certain tracks/albums like you can in a basic way in itunes.

Foobar is the way to go. The only downside is that one does have to invest time in Foobar (finding the plugins and customizing them).

I myself like foobar too.  Will admit mine's still quite fugly, as I haven't taken the time to make it look good.

When I need...I still deal with the sluggish iTunes (win 7 64bit,  core i7, 4gb ram... thanks apple) to sync apps/music.
