Ipod meets Onkyo Digital Transport nd-s1

I am considering thisOnkyo Digital Transport as a way to dock my iPod, from what I can see it should prove better than the Wadia solution.  I heard that the Wadia transport doesn't live up to the Wadia reputation compared to there other products.  I have a friend who is living in Japan now and I'm thinking of having him send out a few.

It seems as the major benefit is that it is a complete interface, allowing you to sync your ipod, access the computers audio files in a seemless manner.  I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this componet.  will probably ebay a couple of them to help pay the cost, so let me know if you have any interest.

Yes I have both the wadia and the Onkyo and the Onkyo is the far better buy. The wadia sounds as good but no better.  The sync facility and ability to work as a usb soundcard for your pc is also a bonus.
