Shaving my head... FOR THE MUSIC, MAN

I've gotten so tired of having my dt880s tug on my hairs on the side of my head I am considering shaving my head. Please convince me to do it or not to do it.

My hair is currently in this weird overly long state and is bugging the hell out of me, however I really want to know what the shape of my head is under my hair. So I think it's time to man up and shave my head.

How about you meet yourself halfway with a mohawk!

No hair on the side of the head, but you still have some hair.

I was in that exact position just last week.  It drove me so crazy I took some scissors and just chopped off a lot of hair around my ears but it looked like a mullet so I went to the barber and had it cleaned up.  Now I feel like I have a 5 y/o's haircut.  I've considered buzzing it sometimes, but I wouldn't look good in it.

How about just getting a nice short cut?

Well, my hair is 8 inches long. (Metalhead) If I am getting it cut short I want to be bald.

This would work:

The Skinhead look is extremely popular among scared white people these days.  Now's the time to check out that cranium.

I looked at this thread title three times before I figured out you werent planning on performing Prof. Harold Hill as Yul Brenner.

I grew my hair out, as I got rather tired of all the "omg u hava boyz haircut!" comments. I'm reminded of just how annoying long hair is every time I go to remove my headphones and end up pulling on a large portion of it.

I'm definitely going back to short hair again soon.

I just wear a number 6 buzz because I have a friend with clippers wink.gif .  Also, it dries instantly after a shower, aaaaand headphones don't mess it up. It's ideal biggrin.gif

Very true. I just got worked around with no. 2 clippers because I realized that I forgot to feed the cat this morning. There will be hell to pay.

Don't go full bald, unless you're one of the few people can pull it off. Leave a bit of hair for the ladies.

OH HELL YEAH!

After consulting my peers, they all decided that I was far too pale to shave my head, and I would be named "skinhead" until it grew back. I hate my friends sometimes, but they know best I guess. Sucks too, I was 100% prepared to do it. I guess I'm going to have to purchase some more shampoo.

I'll probably shave it off the 2-3 weeks before school gets out. That way I can still mark that off the "100 things to do before I die" list and move on.

Also, on a semi-related note, it finally cooled down into the mid 70's and it's too cold to shave my head. I always laugh when people complain about how hot it is. Come move to Texas, where it gets to 105 degrees at 10 in the morning and 126 in the mid day sun.

Try coming to Rochester where it never goes above freezing for almost half the year.
