i read all of the reviews on the woo site for WA5LE but didn't see HOFFMAN'S.... what in particular does it say that entices you?

Thanks for the input Mike.  I will be using balanced so that was part of the decision as well.  I will be getting the silver.  Black looks great and was my first choice but after a while the silver grew on me.

A New Orleans meet sounds like an excellent idea: I have a perfect spot in my condo building that can be reserved in advance at no charge and easily accommodate 100+ if things were to really get out of hand.

 

And there are some great micro-brews down here; Abita is the grandfather and has many different beers, try some of their Abbey Ale if you can find it. 

 

Two of my favorite local micros are pictured here, and I think it anyone could tell them from a Miller Lite from across the room, but bars get away with some crazy stuff during Mardi Gras.

When I ask people what color they are getting I usually ask, silver or dust magnet.  Black gets dirty very fast and if I had it to do over again, I'd get silver.
