Youtube on iphone?

I feel like my iphone downgrades quality on youtube on stuff which is often already junk quality wise.  Is there any way to work around this?

I just wish i had a good way to listen to some decent quality music on my iphone rather than preloading it with all the songs I want.

3gs btw.

Use either re2/fiio e5 or addiems.

You can blame this one on AT&T.  AT&T downgrades streaming video over the 3G network, but you should have full quality if you stream from WiFi.

I don't completely understand the question, but I'm guessing you're askin if there's a way to preview a whole song without using YouTube. In that case, I'd have to recommend Slakerz radio or pandora

Yup the native app is junk. Use safari go to m.youtube.com

You can select hq for higher quality. Just put a bookmark on your homescreen and drag the

Native app away and hide it.

There is also the option of jailbreaking..

Yeah, iOS automatically downgrades video quality if you're using 3G. The same limitation is applied for some other applications. If you jailbreak your iPhone, there is an application called My3G, which enables you to watch high quality videos over YouTube; it also lets you use FaceTime and other applications by emulating a WiFi connection while you're on 3G.

Nice tip on the safari bookmark on home page, i didn't realize it used quicktime instead of youtube.  I will try the my3g when i have a chance

I use it on 3G all the time. The HQ really makes a big difference. Just wish I could force netflix into a HQ mode.
