Which Amp to Pair with Senn HD 25-1 II: $100-$200?

Hey people, I just picked up a pair of Senn HD 25-1 II's and am looking for an amp to pair them with (source=ipod classic). I'd really like something that can bring out their bass, and I understand amps perform much differently with different hardware. Has anyone had any positive combinations? Or simply suggestions for an amp to compliment a collection of house, drum and bass, dubstep and rap music? Thanks for your time and consideration

Do you think it was a worthwhile upgrade? I've been hearing that the difference an amp makes is negligible with the senns, so I was thinking of spending a little more money on an ibasso toucan that I could use with my other 'phones, and hopefully that quality jump would be noticeable with the HDs. Also, how long is the L3? Ohh, and how does the E7 affect the bass?

HD25-1 dont really need amping,  I do how ever use a Zune HD to ibasso T3 to HD25-1 II and like it alot more then just zune HD to HD25-1 II. I dont know if u noticed with ur headphones but for me with HO from zune in most of the songs the vocals would be overly emphasized, with T3 the vocals are now in line with the rest of the sound spectrum wich is nice. AS well as the tight bass of HD25-1 loosens up in the songs where it suppose to be loose (like R&B), as well as the midrange is better pronounced then before. If you want an Amp and dont mind spending around 240$ a D4 would be a good choice, its a decent DAC and a great amp. Or you can wait for the P4 to be reviewed as it looks promissing to be able to drive almost any headphone (300mA per channel O.o)

Regarding the FiiO E7, unless you want an dac feature of it then you might as well get FiiO E5 as the representative from FiiO stated in FiiO discusion thread that it has same amp section as FiiO E5.  generaly this is how people will rate the following amps.

FiiOE5<BB Cmoy<T4<T3<D4<<<<<P51 hornet

Im not sure where the headstage Arrow stand at though.

My advice go for a D4 or something better if you plan on useing it to power other large cans, other wise if u Need an amp for the peace of mind to know that ur headphones will get all the power they need and dont want to lug a huge brick with you then the T3 is worth looking at.

L3 cable, more or less 4 inches..

re senn hd-25 ii amp or unamped, i notice a 70-80% of difference
in SQ by pairing E7 and senn.. but if you prefer to add more money
on Toucan, go for it my friend..

but at the moment, im loving my portable rig.. :-)

@kimpado what player are you using in combination with the E7 and HD25-1? What sort of difference do u notice from the headphone out to the E7 out with now EQ setting changes (0 bass boost) ? I have read multiple reviews and ibasso T3 is a step above E7 when it comes to it being an amp (well T3 is not a dac =P soo) but  I didnt notice a large difference as of yet with Zune HO vs ibasso T3 out, maybe my crappy mini to mini cables are to blame =( ...wich if it is im getting overly excited for the nutric plugs wich are one way and should be a step above the radio shack plugs as well as the cable ibasso provides, I hope.......
