What are the best IEM's under $350USD?

I am looking for a very high-end pair of IEM's.

 

I listen to techno, dance, trance, R&B, Rap.

 

Can you guys list all of the best IEM's in order of which are better.

 

What are some good websites to buy them off of (I'm in Canada).

SM#/SM2 by Earsonics is best for trance.

You can get them in the USA. Read SM3 thread.

In terms of universal headphones, it's basically:

 

UE triple.fi 10's - lots of bass, great highs, mids are a bit recessed, very funky design that probably won't fit your ears well

Shure se535 - also good bass, mids are very pronounced

Westone UM3X - Neutral sound

Sennheiser IE8 - dynamic headphones, great bass, not sure about the rest

SM3 - not sure, I never looked into this one much

 

There are a handful of others, such as the er-4, ortofon, grado gr8, westone 3, but I'd say these are the most popular.  The thing is that after a certain level, earphones aren't better than each other, they're just different and you need to find one that has a sound signature that suits your preferences.

If you know how to use ebay, that's not a bad place to get heaphones from.  You can get some decent deals there if you know how to watch out for fakes.  Most people are also willing to ship to Canada.

if you add 50-80, you can get the JH5 or the AC2. (they are both full customs, the costs over 50 is for the ear impressions)

and not the ie8! only bass and their are a lot of fakes!
