2010 Black Friday/Cyber Monday discounts

Thread Starter

I found this:

We've just learned that Amazon.com will be having an early Black Friday sale each Friday leading up to Black Friday. Each sale will feature deals based on four different themes - connect, play, watch, and listen. The first sale begins today (at 12:01am Pacific time) and will run throughout the entire day. Keep in mind that when Amazon.com has an early Black Friday sale like this, the deals are amazing and products tend to sell out quickly. We suggest you keep an eye on the Amazon.com Gold Box to check for when new products will appear.

Some of the confirmed deals for today include an Archos 5 500 GB Internet Tablet with Android for $309.99, aToshiba 55UX600U 55" 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV for $1,199.99, a Roku HD-XR Player for $69.99, and a Canon PIXMA MG6120 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer for $139.99.

Thank you for passing this along!

I'll keep an eye on the TV; I've been planning to pick one up with those specs. Though I might wait until after Christmas since the deals should be even better then.

Its that time of the year again, but unless some Hi-fi gear starts showing up, I'm not gonna care much.

There have been good deals all year long over at Audiogon. Probably a few more turning up after the holidays, as well.

Yes sir, the seemingly endless consumer assault has begun. Not that I'm not interested!

I'll be on the look out for the usual killer Blu-ray deals.

This thread also has my support. The other thread would like to raise taxes, slash education, and hates senior citizens.

Ads have been released for Bestbuy, keep your eyes peeled and post if you see anything!

"Black Friday" is the day i stay home and tinker on whatever my latest electronic project is. If i can avoid leaving the house at all that's peachy. Depends on how much leftover pie came home with me vs. what is available at my parents house.

I bought something from amazon on cyber monday last year, but I'm pretty sure that selling me an Onkyo TX-SR707 for substantially less than my licensed onkyo dealer friend can get it wholesale must have been a typo. Almost a year later it still sells for $50 more than i paid for it.

Something you buy when you run out of room for audio gear. Then again, I haven't had one since around 1999.

Believe it or not, I'm also passionate about movies. Finally, big screens are reasonable and I'm planning to gorge on streaming Netflix. I've only been seeing five or six movies a year. Used to be one or two a day. I've been through a huge amount of classics, but need to catch up on, well, almost everything from the past ten years.

Mai Tai (my new kitty) is also very much looking forward to additional lounging on me while I watch movies.

Manic Monday

Cyber Monday is where it's at.  I never understood people who stay up all night to get deals on Black Friday that can be had online on Cyber Monday or any other day during the year on Amazon, Ebay, etc.

Hope there are some nice deals this year 8).
