hey i guys i recently got the hippo gumstick

but i think my firmware is pretty low, theres a few problems i notice already

when i turn it on its not that loud, after a few restarts the volume is normal then

and when i open it it stays on the volume it was which was 25

i heard from other head-fiers that it goes back to 15

can you guys tell me what firmware your hippo gumstick is and how do you update firmware for this player

the firmware on mine says:

FW Ver:V007.023

UPDATE*

started sounding better and no problems, see post # 8

Mines the same firmware as yours, my volume goes to where it was when i switched it off. Dont know about your volume issue though. Dont know if you could try and reset it back to factory setting, not sure how to do it really, and ive not found anywhere where you can download or update the firmware in the future

About firmware, you can email Jaben. It is a strange way of doing business, they should put it on their website.

He is having V007.023 which means his is actually NEWER than the one i posted up. so if you are to flash that firmware, you are actually DOWNGRADING your player! @.@

btw, i'm Nightstalker1993 from LYN.
