NASA reports earth gets hotter by 4 degrees

Dear one and all

 

I received the following message and want others to know:

As you see, our climate has changed drastically and I believe it's getting worse. No matter which country you are living in...If you are able to plant a tree in your garden, please do so. If not, then at least pass this email to other's who might be able to do so. If everyone of us do our part in some way to help mother earth to survive, she will survive... it's better then doing nothing about it or leaving it to others to do it.

Dear All,

NASA reports, by the next 10
 
months, earth gets hotter by 4
 
degrees from now.
 

The Himalayan glaciers are
 
melting at a rapid rate.
 
So all of you lend your hands to
 
fight Global Warming
 

We have to take the following steps :

Plant more trees


Don't waste water


Water is a precious resource


Don't Use or Burn PLASTIC


Hold back or go prepared to
 
counter temptation with a cloth bag
 
 

SAVE THE  EARTH

Support your local manufacturers, buy local products, keep stuff longer

Seriously, though, +1 for environmental consciousness. I do my own little part by recycling as much as I can.

It is always hot down here in Yuma. A little global cooling would be most welcome.

Yeah, a little cooling and rain would do SoCal some good.

 

But then again, I correlate hotter temperatures with girls wearing shorter skirts. I'm not complaining!

The scientist I pay to tell me what I want to hear just told me that global warming is a myth so I'm gonna do what I wanna do.

I am rather interested in how they come up with these statistical estimates. I remain skeptical that in the next 10 months the Earth would be "hotter" by 4 "degrees" from now.

Four degrees in 10 months would be a global disaster no? . . . is this really going to happen?

I have a hard time believing 4 degrees in 1 year!  a 2 degree change in climate is enough to disrupt ecosystems, and the global average has only gone up 1 degree or so over the last 50 years

 

 

if this ends up being true, it would literally mean the end of the modern world - so I'll remain skeptical

I do my part by recycling and what not, but his spiel comes to mind every time I hear someone telling me that we need to save the planet.
