Etymotic ER4 Adapter - Awwan Audio

I am looking for an ER4P cable replacement however apuresound is out of my price range.

Was looking at the ER4 adapter from awwan and I was wondering if anyone has used it and their thoughts. More specifically i'm wondering whether the adapter is compatible with the westone type cable he is selling.

Yes, in the pictures down further the ES cable is plugged into them. So his upgrade cable should work just fine.

 

Two things. That link is for the B version adapter. Don't order through that link unless you want that over a P or S.

 

Also, I had an Awwan cable that promised to be better than stock but to me sounded the same. The Westone may just be cheaper and be just as good. Also search for Ultimate ears cable on ebay for more options that will fit. Some like effect studio's Diabolo cable get good reviews.

 

You want the right adapter and cable combo or it might not even sound right let alone be any kind of upgrade.

Hi, did you ever end up ordering this adapter?  If so, what did you think of it?

I've got a Null Audio silver lune cable that I'd like to use with my ER4S'.

I apologize for bumping this thread but based on the postings here, is it correct to assume that the cables made for Ultimate Ears IEM can be used for the ER4P directly?
