Fried, smoked, pickled, marinated in different ways. At Nyhavns Færgekro I think the buffet has 15-20 different ways of doing herring

Hi guys,

 

I'm back from CPH and we had a great time.

We visited the round tower, Nørrebro Bryghus where we had dinner, went to the beerbar in the northwest (the name is escaping me atm), visited the carlsberg factory, the musea for achitecture and design, the little mermaid, kastellet, etc...

 

Thank you all again for your input, it made a great holiday. I do have to admit I am disappointed in the Danish beer, I didn't like it at all except for the Tuborg and Carlsberg standard beers.

The christmas edition beers and local beers just can't compete with the Belgian beers we have I guess.

 

People are very friendly and everyone speaks english. Funny thing is everybody talked danish to me where ever I came. Then they'd say "Sorry, I couldn't see you're a tourist, you look like a local".

Damn my looks :D
