I decided today I wanted to try modding my Ad 700's, since the splitters Astro sells for the mixamp keep breaking. What I would like to do is; add a detachable 4-poll connector thats 3.5mm on the end that will plug into the mixamp and a detachable mic that I'm able to mute. The problem is I've never done any mods like this so I don't know the best places to get the parts. So I was hoping I could get some recommendation of some good sites (in the US) to shop at and idea of what kind of parts I would need. I have a basic idea of what I should get, but I'm unsure about the mute switch part.
