DIY amp for HD650 [$200 to $250 budget]

I'm looking to build an amp for my HD650. I have built amps before and other forms of circuits, but this is the first headphone amp I will be building. I've looked at the PPA and M3 amps so far but I'm not sure if they're right for the HD650. Any suggestions? Would the PPA or the M3 work well with the HD650?

The music I tend to listen to is mainly 1970s Rock n' Roll with a bit of Porcupine Tree thrown in.

The other thing I'd like to avoid is tubes. For tubes, I already have a DarkVoice 336. The other reason is I have zero experience with tubes when it comes to DIY.

M^3 and PPAv2 is over that budget (It's around at least $350) iirc. Unless you already have a chassis for it, then it'll be within your budget. Take a look at CK²III on AMB's website.

I already have a chassis. I'm also not including the power-supply in that cost - but I will be making a good quality one, so that is a non-issue. Given that, is the M3 or PPA better over the CK2?

Also consider a Dynalo, but prepare to provide a good regulated split power supply. I believe the CK... pcb has this included. The M^3 and PPA will run from a 24VDC wall-wart.

I really love the PPAv2 with HD650s, and at $250 you can certainly build it, even at under $200 if you have the chassis.  I'd certainly go with a quality PSU, such as Sigma11 or YJPS.
