I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

There are many of us here who did not want to believe in the benefits of high end equipment but once you try it you really cant go back to DISKWASHER headphones or YORX speakers etc. Many will land safely in the "mid range" gear bracket and be happy to stay there. Good for them. They are enjoying 97% of the goodness. And for you 1% ers out there living the good life, you are rich. Pat yourself on the back you made it to audio nirvana.
This hobby is about experimenting, having fun, and hopefully, unlocking that last bit of magic in those songs we love. Headphones are definitely mainstream and there are many who use them but need to look good when they are on their head in public. There are options for them as well.
It would be nice to make a chain(necklace) from these just like on the picture (using these heads with the headphones in a small version). It will be legendary
btw I'm Peter, just signed up to the forum and wanted to say hello too.
