I was at first comparing STX vs Audio-gd Fun and in that post i believe STX had more pro's than Fun. So i decided to try and get a audition of the STX. I found the difference between Asus STX and Asus DX a little diff, STX being better(but not much IMO).

 

So i decided to take the risk and go for dedicated DAC and shortlisted these two. Also i could use my mobile devices with a external DAC through usb.

But i cant make up my decision as to which one to go for of the two?

 

 

about my setup:

I will be running the with PC as source through spdif from my motherboard or soundcard -DX (bought it for surround sound effect while watching movies/games).

I was planning on getting A2(passive) speakers but then need amps to power it so might go with A5(active).

And i have ATH-A700 headphones..

 

Please do tell the pro's and con's of both so i can decide much more easily..
